Celebrating Women’s History Month

Mothers. Sisters. Daughters. Gamers.

From the female leaders in the gaming industry, to the women who create change, to every woman who has contributed to a better world, women aren’t just at the top of their game, they’re at the top of the game–period.

“Always hold yourself up high and never let anyone tell you, you can’t do something—as a woman, as a gamer, and a professional, as a friend, etc.—you can do anything and everything. In the words of my favorite singer, ‘Please don’t tell me I can’t make it, it ain’t gonna do me any good.’” –JSP

All women, everywhere, have a story. To celebrate Women’s History Month, we wanted to share a few stories from our own Xbox Ambassadors Team members.

“I grew in an all-women household, so I’m proud to identify as a woman. Watching my nana be the sturdy rock of our family, watching my mom raise a child when she herself was still a child, all of it makes me the woman I am today, and I’m proud of myself.” –JSP

“When I think of women I look up to, the first person that comes to mind is my mom. She’s a strong woman who has gone through a lot in her life. She came to America as a refugee from a war-torn country and now she’s her own boss. The perseverance she had to learn a new language, raise her family, and own her own business—she is a superstar and I admire her strength.” –AshesX

“I’m happy to have the opportunity to provide a space for other women in gaming to share their voices and unique stories. I get to connect with people every day, both as an Xbox Ambassador and a Mixer Partner. I’m proud to be a gamer to my core and to be working every day on making the community as a whole more inclusive and less toxic for everyone.” –Enolacat
